Hilton - London Kensington
Spent some time in London last weekend, and booked a night in Hilton, Holland Park Avenue.
It’s about 5-10 minutes walk from either Shepherds’ Bush or Holland Park tube station.
We did not have breakfast so I have nothing to say on that - I assume it’s your standard buffet breakfast.
The hotel itself has an “old-timey” vibe - it’s not very modern. We did not have any charging points near the bed, and I’m addicted to my phone so this was not as comfortable as I would’ve liked. The lights did not have a comfortable/centralised panel. Old-timey through and through.
The room was small, but clean. The bed was firm, the furniture was okay, there’s nothing special about this one.
I forgot to take pictures until the very last moment, so you won’t see a clean and tidy room - just the disaster left over:
The toilet was quite small - but everything worked so I cannot complain too much.
Overall, this is a 7/10. Not disappointed, but not impressed either. We paid £110 for a night, which is reasonable for London, I think.
